30th anniversary

The club was formed in 1978 and takes it name from where the majority of players of the first team lived which was SOUTH PARK AVENUE. We did play some friendlys at South Park College but that was not the reason why we were so called.
As the club grew in size they had to move to Eston Recreation ground, we got permission to use a disused building just over the road from the pitches, which we changed into dressing rooms for the club. After a period of time the club started to grow in numbers eventually fielding six teams.
The club then declined to only two teams this is when the three present senior club officials got together and ask the then chairman and treasurer to stand down, and allow the present officials to take over for the good of the club. Within the first two years we built the teams back up to five and now we are standing at seventeen teams that play in the T.J.F.A.league.Three girls teams play on Saturdays 10/12+14S Play in The Tess Valley Girls League,One team under 7s play in the Cleveland Youth Leauge
The club would like to thank all of our sponsors for their help without them we could not of grown that quickly and as you can see by the two sponsors on the right we look very smart thank you.
Because of the projected growth of the club we approached the local Council with a veiw to taking over the lease of a local sports park. Which is formaly known as Smiths Dock Park in Normanby.
Over the last couple of years we have achieved the three F.A.Charter Standed awards that are open to junior clubs which are
:CHARTER MARK CLUB NOV.2002
:DEVELOPMENT CLUB MAR.2003
:COMMUNITY CLUB MAY.2004
Next season we hope to have full control of the park and have our new club house in place this will provide warm and comfortable changing facilities for all teams and a good bass for the club.If you would like to join the club please feel free to contact us..

Yours in sport
SOUTH PARK RANGERS J.F.C
